As the end of the school year approaches, there are few events this week. In addition to the weekly Cougar Market, Escondido High School will be hosting their 1st Annual Cougar Showcase on Thursday.

EHS Cougar Market

Escondido High School’s weekly Farmers Market is open to the public. Some items you are likely to find at the market this week are eggs, broccoli, pomegranates, Swiss chard, grapefruit, lemons, and plants and herbs. Cougar Market is located at the farm behind the varsity baseball field.

EHS 2024 Cougar Showcase

Escondido High School (EHS) is hosting their 1st annual Cougar Showcase to show off all that EHS has to offer. Families can participate in learning activities and much more. In addition to food trucks, food will be provided free to students under 18 (while supplies last), and tri tip sandwiches will be sold at the farm.

Events include:

• AG project showcase

• Livestock and alumni livestock shows

• Farm tours, including sustainable farming practices

• Floral demonstrations

• Plant sale

• Farm-to-Table competition & culinary activities

• STEM presentations and activities for kids

• Drama student showcase

• Car show

• Musical and dance performances from Mariachis, Dance, Cheer and Band

• Sports activities
