School Board Meetings
Both the Escondido Union High School District (EUHSD) and the Escondido Union School District (EUSD) have meetings this week, while SPUSD is hosting a community input meeting.
EUHSD - Tuesday at 6pm
EUHSD is holding a regular meeting of the board this week covering various topics, including:
an annual update on programs and student achievement at Del Lago Academy by Principal Kristin Kalish
a first reading on the pilot of a new Ethnic Studies course required by California AB101
resolutions to eliminate classified and certificated staff positions
approval of expenditure plan for arts and music grant funding

Public comment can be given on agenda items as well as any items not on the agenda, but that fall within the scope of the school board’s responsibility.

A regular board meeting of the Escondido Union School District will be held on Thursday this week. You can view the entire agenda here.
The meeting this week will start with Student Excellence Awards, recognizing students from Limitless Learning Academy, the Home Education Program, Miller Elementary, and North Broadway Elementary.
The majority of the board’s business will be approved on consent, with discussion on several agenda items including the elimination of classified and certificated positions

Escondido High School’s weekly Farmers Market is open to the public. Some items you are likely to find at the market this week are eggs, broccoli, pomegranates, Swiss chard, grapefruit, lemons, and plants and herbs. Cougar Market is located at the farm behind the varsity baseball field.
